PURPLE GLAZE DONUTS
HOUSE OF THE (UN)HOLY
Great donuts are an enigma. People think they know where to get a good donut but rarely do they ever know where to get a GREAT donut. A donut that hits you in the mouth with flavor, wakes you up and leaves you gasping "well, holy s*hit". Located in Asbury Park, NJ, you can find a place that does just that. Purple Glaze is a mother and son team who is very rock and roll, if only slightly different in their take on the attitude.
The attitude I'm talking about is no nonsense and a supreme sense of pride in what they create. Hell, large bands looking to play the nearby venues like the Stony Pony will call on them to craft a song specific donut. If that's not an endorsement of how fantastic these sugary devils are then we don't know what is.
So what did we do here? We spent a day with the crew and tried to create a drool worth film showing off all the things that people who go to Purple Glaze desire. This was another film we decided to go in very free form and just capture the essence and overall eclecticism. It's just a fun, weird and delicious gem. You deserve to watch the film and then go do what must be done. You must have a GREAT donut...or a dozen. Your call.
